• Cathay Pacific is offering a 50% transfer bonus when you transfer hotel points (excluding Marriott)

The Fine Print

• To join the Promotion, Eligible Members are required to convert their hotel points from any of the Participating Hotel Loyalty Programmes into Asia Miles (including auto-conversion) during the Promotion Period (i.e. the activity date for the relevant conversion transactions shown on the Eligible Member’s Asia Miles or Marco Polo Club monthly statement must be between 1 June 2019 and 30 June 2019, and the regular miles must be credited to the Eligible Member’s account by the end of August 2019).

Our Verdict

This particular promotion is always pointless unless Marriott is participating as the other transfer rates are just terrible. I’m surprised some have been lowered to only 25%, as usually we see all of them at 50%.
