The Aeroplan & Hyatt status match challenge has finally been launched after being previously announced. Hyatt members can participate in the status match challenge once per year and have 90 days to meet the Status Qualifying Credits (SQC) requirements.
Explorist Members
- Accumulate 8,000 SQC within the 90-day Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge period to achieve Aeroplan 25K Status
Globalist Members
- Accumulate 8,000 SQC within the 90-day Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge period to achieve Aeroplan 25K Status
- Accumulate 12,000 SQC within the 90-day Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge period to achieve Aeroplan 35K Status
- Accumulate 17,000 SQC within the 90-day Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge period to achieve Aeroplan 50K Status
- Accumulate 25,000 SQC within the 90-day Aeroplan Elite Status Challenge period to achieve up to Aeroplan 75K Status.
Earning SQC
SQC is based on amount spent and fare type:
- 4 SQC per $1 spent on Economy Flex fares or higher
- 2 SQC per $1 spent on Economy Standard fares
- 1 SQC per $1 spent on an Air Canada Vacations package
