Chase have sent out mailers for a refer a friend program coming to Chase United MileagePlus Explorer cardholders.
- Person being referred will receive 50,000 bonus miles after $3,000 in spend within the first three months
- Person referring will receive 10,000 bonus miles per person they refer, up to 50,000 miles maximum
This card does fall under the 5/24 rule. There are two reasons that I’d recommend against this card:
- There are targeted offers for 75,000 + $50, these are significantly better than this 50,000 mile bonus.
- This card falls under the 5/24 rule, if you are under 5/24 then there are cards that provide better bonuses than 50,000 United miles.
