Chase Business Cardholders Get New Card Offer Which Bypasses 5/24

[Update 6/5/19: Many readers got pending yesterday and are now seeing the card show up as approved in their online login.]

Many Chase customers who have a business credit card with Chase are now seeing a targeted offer within their Chase login to apply for a new card which should bypass 5/24. We put this out earlier today as an update to a previous post, but given how widely available this is I’m creating a dedicated post here.

We’ve written before how Just For You offers (found from link in the menu within your Chase login) seem to be immune to the 5/24 disqualification rule, provided that the system shows you a fixed APR on the credit card application. There’s a similar kind of offer found under Just For You for business cardholders as well which seems to bypass 5/24.

Aside from the Just For You offers on the personal and business end, we mentioned (in a May update) that there’s a new kind of offer showing within the card information (right under where it says Pay Card) which also has a fixed APR and seems to be working to bypass 5/24.

This kind of offer is only for business cards, far as I’m aware, and only shows up for those who already have a business card with Chase. However, it’s found in both personal and business logins. (Chase knows you have a business card based on your SSN, so they send the targeted business card offer to both your personal and business logins.) I’m unsure if this offer shows in the Chase app as well.

Check on each of your Chase personal and business card, beneath the Pay Card button to see if you got this. Then, click through and check that the APR is showing a fixed APR. If it is, it should bypass the automatic 5/24 denial. Some people are even getting instant approvals. (Chase does not usually give instant approvals on business cards, so don’t expect that.)

There are dozens of reports today of people seeing an offer there, mostly for the no-fee INK Unlimited with a $500 signup bonus. Sporadic reports of Chase INK Preferred as well. (Data points here and here.) I’ve never gotten any of these Just For You offers, but this targeted offer came my way. It shows on all my cards, in both personal and business logins.
