Chase Extends Pay Yourself Back Until December 31, 2021

Chase has extended the popular Pay Yourself Back feature until December 31, 2021. Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders get 1.5¢ in value and Chase Sapphire Preferred cardholders get 1.25¢ in value when redeeming points against specific categories. Business cardholders get 1.25¢ on the Business Preferred & Plus and 1.1¢ on the Business Cash & Unlimited. The categories will remain the same for the business cards, but it’s unclear what will happen to the personal cards although the charity category is showing as valid until 12/31/22 (previously charities was already valid until 12/31/21).

Haven’t received this yet but would definitely be interested if they extend the dining option.

Now one has to decide if this card is a keeper or better to downgrade. I probably will downgrade if they do not extend PYB for grocery stores.

So what categories exactly were extended? We’re at 9/30, and nothing appears to have been extended other than charities. If so, alas, all good things…..

So the “program” will “continue” but “it’s unclear what will happen to the personal cards” as far as categories. What a useless post!

So I just called Chase on 9/28. They said that it will not be extended. Any further updates or announcements or sources on the extension?

Do we have any other confirmation or sources on this yet? Still showing 9/30/21 in my accounts.

I still don’t see any kind of extension on my account or any other sources reporting this information. Is this going to happen?
