Chase Freedom Flex Now Available Via Referral Links

The Chase Freedom Flex card is now available via referral links with the same $200 and 5%-grocery signup bonus. That’s terrific news since it means the new member can earn the full signup bonus, at the same time allowing the referrer to get $100 bonus (10,000 points).

If you have the Freedom card or the Freedom Unlimited card (or the Freedom Flex card, I assume?), you can refer friends to signup for either the Freedom Flex card or the Freedom Unlimited card. You’ll earn $100/10,000 points on each referral, up to $500/50,000 per calendar year.

Find your referral link here | Share your referral links in this dedicated thread

We mentioned this idea back last week of waiting a bit before signing up with the hopes that the Flex becomes available via referral, and it looks like that’s happened now. The Freedom Flex/Unlimited signup bonus is already at its highest, and this additional benefit for the referrer only makes it more enticing.

I’m still not seeing referral links available on Chase INK cards or Sapphire Reserve, but it’s good to see Freedom added back now.

(When I click through my referral link, there’s a popup stating that “the offer you are attempting to access is no longer available”, but it reroutes to the current offer, and I think (?) it should track fine to credit the referrer. Or you can wait a bit and hopefully this gets fixed soon. We can make a referral thread, but I’m holding off right now with the hopes they fix the referral link issue. Let us know if you see it working properly. Seems it’s been this way for a while. We now created a separate thread to share referral links.)

When i open the referral link in a private browser, it doesn’t show the 5% grocery bit. Will it happen anyway?

Anyone else recently receive a notice from Chase to authorize SSA to release SSN for a CF Flex app?
Form SSA-89. This is weird.

I just received a new email with a new referral link with my chase freedom. This is only 2 days after my wife applied using the old link where it said “The offer your are attempting to access is no longer available, you will be redirected to the most current offer. If you are not automatically redirected, click here.”

Hopefully the referral still goes through….

Usually it arrives on your statement date. Did you ever get credited?

So if you have both the CF and CFU, are you able to refer 10 people, 5 from each card for a max total of 100,000 points? Or is it 50,000 cap between both of them?

Does the person who used someone’s referral link or gets referred, get a bonus by using the link, or is it just the original person who referred someone? I hope this question makes sense. I currently have the original Freedom Card as well as Freedom Unlimited and I’m just debating whether I want to open up the Flex. Thanks in advance.

Person applying gets the same bonus offer shown in public links ($200 bonus on $500 spend + 5% on grocery for 1yr) so zero difference for them — person making the referral gets $100 referral bonus (10k UR pts)

You can’t self refer using your own CF/CFU link anymore so if you have a family member or friend then you can use their link so they get $100 bonus. Family member used my referral link to get CFF so its $300 total bonus between us and I’ll apply for CFF later using their referral link so another $300 — ends up being $600 total bonus for 2x $500 spend in the same household

Anyone use a referral link and get the points yet? I seem to recall Chase being pretty quick at delivering referral points, but I’m not sure.

Have your referrals maxed out for this calendar year for the Freedom cards? I’m considering applying within the next couple days and would use your link if you haven’t already successfully referred 5 people this year.

Applied through your link a couple nights ago and was instantly denied. Received an email the next morning requesting income verification and sent that in earlier today. Hopefully that was the only reason I was denied and once they review it they will approve. Applied for CSP 1.5 months ago so having a recent inquiry makes me nervous.

If you’re kinda new to Chase, I think that’s pretty common for income verification. I hope Chase comes through!

Got the 2 week message which I assume means an approval! Hopefully they still grant you the referral.
