The Chase Freedom and Freedom Unlimited cards are currently offering 10x Ultimate Rewards offer on hotel bookings during March, with a $2,500 max. Multiple readers report (here and via email) on an apparent glitch in the system which is only crediting the bonus points for the first night of a multi-night stay. For example, if you book a three night stay for $750 total, the system is only giving credit for one night at $250.
I assume this is just an error somewhere in the system which will eventually get fixed retroactively. We’ll try reaching out to Chase to alert them of the issue, and we’ll add any update as we hear it. Regardless, a lot of people were scratching their heads trying to figure out what was going on, so here’s your headsup.
