Our Verdict

Existing bookings should work fine as long as you haven’t already paid for your booking. If you have a stay that will be completed after January 1st you might be able to call the hotel in advance to get them to charge your card ahead of time, just make sure you get confirmation and a receipt. This is similar to an American Express sync offer and also similar to the Whole Foods deal Chase Hyatt cardholders were able to participate in. What I find most interesting is that the landing page talks about Visa Enrollment Offers, it looks like Visa is putting more time into things like this as they also power the card linked program Uber offers as well. DP of a gift card purchase working here.
