Chase Offers Are Powered By Cardlytics (Same Offers You See On BofA & Other Issuers)

I had high hopes for Chase offers, unfortunately now that they have launched it seems Chase is offering the exact same offers many other card issuers. Cardlytics provides the back end for the following issuers:

  • Bank of America
  • BBVA
  • BB&T
  • PNC
  • Regions Bank
  • Suntrust
  • Columbia Bank
  • Beneficial Bank
  • Christian Community CU
  • Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union

Reader ND points out that JPMorgan Chase actually signed a deal with Cardlytics and that’s why the offers are the same.

On the positive side if there are duplicate offers across issuers it could make them twice as valuable.

I guess if you eat at Ruby Tuesday’s a lot that’s a good thing. That seems to be the only thing I ever get.

Right. Unfortunately most of the offers are of that caliber. AirBnb might come in handy though since it would double the max discount and it works on gift cards tmk.

Gift cards with ABnB have worked in the past for me as well. You can’t buy a card for yourself on the same account, but the process works well for sending electronic cards to actual friends or other accounts you might have.

What airbnb discount are you getting? I try to get gift cards at least 15% off using the various AMEX Offer promos for stores that sell gift cards.

how do you even find them? does business profile once again botch everything up w/ yet another chase product?

No they still show with Business profile in Chase app. On the page with your cards and/or Deposit accts. Just below your UR points bance. (but naral for the Biz cards).

But cardlyrics does post the occasional gem like 10% back at Staple”s and SBUX coffee (AU used to refill SBUX balance with BofA card) but yeah mostly – meh.

Yeah disappointing at least cards like the freedom earn at better rates than my BOA cards or PNC bank. The walmart grocery one seems to appear quite a bit on those but all I have is a debit card thus missing out on credit card points on top of the discounts.

This may be bad news for me. For whatever reasons, I never get any offers on my BOA and PNC account…

Ditto. And add CCCU to the mix for me.

Actually had over 20 (useless to me) offers on my CFU, 9 on CSR, none on CSP. Exactly correlates with my usage of the cards (lots of CFU, some CSR, none CSP).

Interesting. I still don’t see anything about offers though in my account. I only see the links to open an investment account and view my credit score.

Surprisingly, my Chase offers are better than my BoA offers. Well, better might be an overstatement. Out of 5, I could use 2 (both local establishments) on Chase but I have used only 1 BoA offer in the last six months.

Nope, I don’t have them either…

CitiBank double it
CitiBank double it

Where is CitiBank? How come they don’t improve on by this?

i mean how do you maximize a 5% discount and are only getting $4 back. So how much should you spend?
