Deal has been available a few times, sometimes the offer will disappear before it hits 5PM local time but make sure you check back at 5PM local time and it will show up again. Should also be able to stack it with this deal, use Chase Pay for restaurants three times and get a $10 credit.

I have no idea why, but some restaurants in my area I can’t use this promo and some can. Had an order ready to go with a restaurant I’ve done happy hour with, but today it doesn’t work.
That being said, it’s pretty rad that this promo counts towards the 3x. It seems like these happy hours happen regularly, so I’ve had 3 meals for about $3 each after tax and fees, and then I get a $10 credit for the future. Insanely valuable while it lasts, and I actually don’t mind the two restaurants near me that have Chase Pay (one Mexican, one BBQ).

Some restaurant don’t participate in this offer. Have no idea why.
Does this work at Starbucks if it’s listed in their “Nearby” list? The restaurants near me in the “Order” section require a $10 minimum and they’re not listed in the “Nearby” list so presumably they will not work if I show up and try to scan the Chase Pay code. Only food places in my Nearby list are Starbucks and TCBY.
Dig deeper in the app. At first glance all I found were starbucks and gas stations. Doing a search for “nearby” and “offers” and then several food places of interest like 5 guys, boston market, and Asian food came up. Before that discovery earlier today I thought “this chase pay is dying fast”
I have to go 20+ minutes away before I find anything other than Starbucks, gas stations and supermarkets. And it’s not worth going that far out of my way at 5pm to save $5. If the online order places that are 5 minutes from my house didn’t have $10 minimums for online orders, I’d use it. Also found a place 20 minutes away that had no minimum but added a $1.50 order surcharge.
No store i ever went to know how to do qr code. Completely stupid and useless . I even called chase they couldn’t help

There are two ways of doing it. The ones on the “Order” tab have to done online. Sadly, the ones near me have a $10 minimum and none are places I want to spend $5 after coupon to use. If you have any in the Nearby list, those you should be able to use with the QR code (in theory, assuming their reader works).

Shouldn’t be targeted. You have to go to a participating restaurant to see the offer.
Are you in Chase Pay app or just Chase app? I only have SW personal Chase card and it’s there for me.
