Chase Ultimate Rewards: Up To 20% Bonus When Redeeming Points For Apple Products (1.2¢ Per Point)

Update 5/22/20: Readers note that other than the 20% bonus on CSR, there’s also a 10% bonus on Sapphire Preferred and a 5% bonus on Freedom cards.

The Offer

No direct link to offer

  • Chase is offering some Sapphire Reserve cardholders a 20% bonus when redeeming points for apple products. This means you can get 1.2¢ per point.

The Fine Print

  • Valid until 6/18/2020

Our Verdict

They offered the same deal last year. Keep in mind:

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders get a 50% bonus when redeeming points for travel (1.5¢ per point).
  • You can also transfer to travel partners at a 1:1 rate.

It’s also not really even a 20% bonus as you can’t even go through a portal or earn credit card rewards.

William Charles I don’t understand what this means. How is it not a 20% bonus? 10,000 UR gets you $120 toward Apple. That’s a 20% bonus, no?

Fair point. My UR are collecting dust for the forseeable future though. Different times, different calculus…

It’s also 10% for CSP and 5% for CF.

Do you still get the CSR extended warranty protection when going this route?
