At least one reader is reporting receiving an anniversary gift for being a Chase Ink cardholder for 10 years. Included in the gift was cookies, coffee and a brownie from Dog Tag Bakery in D.C. Seems similar to the AmExAppreciates program.

Hi I am thinking about canceling one of my Chase credit card I have another personal chase credit card (disney) and it has an annual $49 fee coming due next week. I would like to cancel it. If i do cancel it, will that count against me when I apply for a chase ink card ? Thank you. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
Ask to do a downgrade product change rather than a cancel. Ask for a non annual fee card switch like freedom. That way it’s not a cancel and you don’t lowers your available credit.
