This post was originally published on: Mar 27, 2015 @ 20:07. I am republishing because the public sign up bonus on the Chase Southwest Personal Plus is now 50,000, as is the Chase Southwest Personal Premier and I wanted everybody to be aware of the higher bonus on the business card.
The Offer
- Sign up for the Chase Southwest Business Premier card and receive 60,000 Southwest points after $3,000 in spend
The Fine Print
- Offer valid until April 27th, 2015
Our Verdict
This was a targeted offer and people who received this offer do have a direct link, although there are two small issues:
- The landing page does not mention the 60,000 point offer
- The landing page includes that person’s individual rapid rewards number
Now I’ve stripped the rapid rewards number and you can view the application link here. But I wouldn’t use that link to sign up directly, as chances are something could go wrong. Instead I’d recommend calling Chase on 1-888-883-2721 and asking to apply for the Chase Southwest Business Premier card, the offer code is DF01.
For those looking to see if they also received this e-mail the subject line is: “Get 60,000 points – plus earn points on employee spending”
This is much higher than the standard 25,000 bonus (which in reality is almost always 50,000). So could be a good option for those looking to stock up on Southwest points. What’s even more interesting is that you could get this card and a card that earns another 50,000 Southwest points and you’d have enough points for the Southwest companion pass (either Chase/Southwest didn’t think this one through or maybe credit card sign up bonuses will stop counting towards this in the near future?).
- Signup Bonus: 50,000 Points with Southwest Premier Credit Card Still Available
- Chase Southwest Plus 50,000 Point Offer Is Still Available
Southwest also sent out some other interesting deals today, we will be covering them shortly. Keep in mind that Southwest is moving towards a system where points will not have a fixed value, they won’t have an award chart and the price of flights in points will be completely decided at Southwest’s discretion (if that doesn’t fill you with confidence, I’m not sure what will).
If you decide to apply for this card either through calling or applying directly, please share your experiences in the comments below.
