In case you didn’t know it’s still possible to get 50,000 points on the Chase Southwest Premier credit card. Most people want to get two Chase Southwest cards at a time though, as that way they are well on their way to the Southwest Companion Pass which allows a companion to fly for free with you on all paid and award flights.
There are three Chase Southwest cards: Chase Southwest Premier Personal, Chase Southwest Plus Personal & Chase Southwest Premier Business. It’s actually still possible to get a 50,000 point bonus after $3,000 in spend on the Chase Southwest Plus card, the trick is that you need to use somebody who has a referral link for that card.
Getting A Referral
If you have a referral for this 50,000 point offer, please feel free to share it in the comments. You can check to see if you do have this offer by logging into: https://www.chasereferafriend.com/. Flyertalk also has a dedicated thread where you can request a referral for this offer, you can post there requesting one.
Personally I’d recommend just going through that thread and find people already offering links to the Plus card and PM them directly, you’ll have a lot more success that way, here is at least one person that is offering this referral link.
This is a win-win situation, they get 5,000 Southwest miles and you get a much higher sign up bonus. As I mentioned before, if you have this card already check the Chase referral website to see if you have an offer and if you do, share your link in the comments (keep in mind this link shows personal information, so see if you feel comfortable sharing it publicly before you do).
You can also try to see if you have any targeted offers with Chase. In my experiences this does not show any co-branded credit cards – only Chase specific cards (Chase Slate, Chase Freedom & Chase Sapphire Preferred), although it never hurts to try.
Hat tip to oughgh reddit for making me aware of this promo
