No signup bonus is showing anymore for the Citi Premier credit card, although there is a working link for the Premier card with 40,000 points bonus. The Preferred card also is hard to get with the 20k bonus, currently. The Prestige card still does have the regular 50k bonus, as in the past.

Premier
The standard bonus on the Premier card is 40k bonus points after $3,000, and it’s often been 50,000 points too if you got the right link. It’s now showing on the site with no bonus at all, and the same has been confirmed over the phone.
Working Link
Here is a working link for the Premier card to get a 40,000 point bonus after spending $3,000. Note: I have no idea if it’s an affiliate link or a direct link. (As an aside, this link does have the new 24-month language.)
Hard to know if it’s a good idea to apply now or not. I’m optimistic that the bonus will come back, certainly on the Premier, but no telling what the bonus will be.
Preferred
The Preferred card is on-and-off, sometimes it shows a bonus and sometimes not. Check this link and see what it says for you; I’ve gotten the bonus to show sometimes and sometimes not.
As a side note, there’s been some chatter or Reddit that Citi plans to discontinue the Preferred card completely, but who knows.
Thanks to friends Tim and J. for some of this info
They are A/B testing the site! Banks do this all the time.
I have the Preferred Card for College Students, would I still be able to apply for and receive the 20K bonus points on a regular Preferred Card?
I think they are considered the same product, but can’t comment directly. Anybody have personal experience?
I went through citi site (went to the site and picked ‘travel cards’: https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/compare-credit-cards/citi.action?ID=travel-reward-credit-cards) and the bonus is showing up just fine.
I don’t see a bonus there on Premier. What bonus amount do you see?
interesting, I don’t see it from my home computer, but was getting the standard 40k offer from my work laptop.
I just googled both and they came up on the first one from the citi page….maybe it is fixed?
I don’t see the bonus on the Premier from Google search.
The link in the post is still working.
lots of things happening. looks like Citi, AA, and Marriott/SPG all chose this Friday to dump bad news. Oh yes, I do think the merger of Marriott and SPG is bad news for everyone.
This. I am fine with these restrictions they have to make money. The one in lifetime and 5/24 are much more onerous.
I have Premier and never had Preferred before. Are they considered as different products? If I signup Preferred am I eligible for signup bonus?
Tho I’m waiting for 30k TYP bonus for Prefered
Yes – they have been considered to be different products and you will receive the bonus after meeting the spend requirements.
