They are A/B testing the site! Banks do this all the time.

I have the Preferred Card for College Students, would I still be able to apply for and receive the 20K bonus points on a regular Preferred Card?

I think they are considered the same product, but can’t comment directly. Anybody have personal experience?

I went through citi site (went to the site and picked ‘travel cards’: https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/compare-credit-cards/citi.action?ID=travel-reward-credit-cards) and the bonus is showing up just fine.

lots of things happening. looks like Citi, AA, and Marriott/SPG all chose this Friday to dump bad news. Oh yes, I do think the merger of Marriott and SPG is bad news for everyone.

This. I am fine with these restrictions they have to make money. The one in lifetime and 5/24 are much more onerous.

Yes – they have been considered to be different products and you will receive the bonus after meeting the spend requirements.
