Our Verdict
How useful the deal is really depends on the hotel you are booking, cheaper hotels for two night stays will provide a better percentage discount than expensive hotels for longer stays. If you have the Citi Prestige keep in mind you can get the 4th night free and should be able to stack it with this promotion as well. My favorite way to save on hotels is by stacking discounts using Hotels.com, but this might be a better option depending on the hotel you’re booking.

1) Do you know if this promo can only be used to book a resv for the cardholder? Or can book for others?
2) Can the promo be used multiple times or only once per card account?
3) The promo is valid through April 30, but can it be used to make bookings after April 30?

I was playing around with a hotel I currently have booked at a refundable rate through hotels.com. If use the option to pay entirely with points, when I put in the promo code, it is taking off 4,000 points. Does that sound right? I’ve never used any of my TY points before – I guess that would be giving them a 1.25 cent per point value, so it’s probably right, just wanted to make sure I’m thinking about this right. Thanks!

Just what i needed.
This does not stack with the 4th night free promotion. Have tried on several hotels and it tells me code is invalid and can’t be combined with other promotions. When I choose the same hotel for 3 nights the coupon works.

I got an email about this. It mentions that it is indeed through their portal. It’s nice that they will give you $50 off using either points, or cash, or both. Might add a day to my upcoming Tahoe stay 😀
