The reason companies like you to sign up for autopay is they know there is much less of a chance op people actually checking the bill and then they start increasing the rates on you. Comcast is one of the worst at doing this.

So you should set a reminder to disable autopay after getting the offer 😉

Or better yet, use a virtual card number (like Citi’s) that has enough allowance for only 1 payment.

But another sad truth is that while comcast exemplifies this kind of actions, it is a universal truth ranging from verizon to at&t, from your dentist to your mechanic, from your banker/investment advisor to your employer =(

The longer they know you the better they take care of you? You need to seriously weight the pros and cons from their perspective if you wanted to reply ‘yes’ to this question. It is actually an optimal strategy for them to take more and more monetary advantage from you the longer you keep *virtually any* “relationship”, and it is also hardwired into human nature so they don’t even need to think and can instinctively do this on you, without feeling any guilt;)

Thus churning is not just for CCs, although it is also not free

Second. They charged me $1.01 more on the most recent bill. Comcast is very shady

which app do you see this in? “my xfinity”?

Not worth it for foregoing the tens of 1-cent charges I put on to keep my Wells Fargo business checking account fee-free, and satisfying the rewards checking account debit card spending requirements.

Totally agree. This is my go to for meeting debit card transaction requirements. My other utilities charge a fee per payment. Comcast doesn’t care. And also AMZN has been acting weird lately

You don’t have to forego those 1 cent transactions even with autopay enabled. Make all the 1 cent transactions you want before the due date and autopay just pays off the remainder of your bill afterward. I’ve done it like this for a couple years now

Could someone provide info of which specific App and how to see the offer, please?

I downloaded & installed “Xfinity My Account” app from Play Store – logged in with my credentials. But I am not able to see any offer…

Any inputs are appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Sri

It worked for me. I turned autopay off and saw the promo on top of my “make a payment” web page in about 20 mins.

Still don’t see the offer, can you give more detail on how to get this offer?

Devon

Is this through the app only? If not then this is targeted and maybe should be titled as such. Myself as well as others in the comments are not getting this offer.
