The idea is that you register your employees and they continue to earn their standard miles & perks and as a business you also earn Business Extra points. You can currently get 500 points by completing a quick one to two minute survey.

Our Verdict
You can see what you can redeem these points for here. They are much more valuable then regular American Airline miles, for example a flight within North America is 2,000 points. An admirals club day pass will set you back 300 points. A one segment upgrade within North America or between North America & Hawaii/Caribbean costs exactly 650 points. It’s definitely worth signing up if you have a business. Points earned expire on a rolling basis. The points you earn this year will expire on Dec in 2 years. They don’t extend expiry by earning more. Each point has their own expiry date. Readers might have 650 points from a previous sign up bonus promotion.

How do you register your “employees” AA MR account to your Biz Extra account?
When booking travel, the employee needs to enter the business’ number in the Business ExtrAA box on aa.com. It’s near the AAdvantage number box. You can also retro credit for 12 months.

I see 300 points is good for an Admiral’s Club day pass. Worth it for 5 minutes of survey response.
Yup, wife and I did it just for that as we’re flying AA in November so we’ll be in that terminal. Easy.
Did you do two separate businesses? I imagine if the same business and survey taken twice, you won’t get 1,000 points.

Got an error after entering my account number st the end of the survey. It said “please enter a decimal number” and blanked my account number but went through so I don’t know if I’ll get 500 points. It’s nit like I can use it for much anyway.
