The digital wallet in the Costco app used to only allow the Citi Costco card for payment with QR code in stores. Now, when updating the Costco app, you should see an ‘Add Visa’ to allow adding any Visa card.
Makes it a bit more seamless when paying in a Costco clubhouse by doing a single scan for membership and card. Some are reporting that for now it’s still coding as Online purchase for cards that earn a bonus online.
