Crocs Giving Away 10,000 Pairs Of Shoes To Healthcare Workers At 12PM ET Everyday

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Crocs is offering 10,000 pairs of shoes everyday to healthcare workers. The freebie goes live at 12PM ET everyday

The Fine Print

  • Includes free shipping

Our Verdict

Would be nice if you could just sign up once and be entered each day, I think healthcare workers probably have better things to do than try to get a freebie at a set time each day but I appreciate that Croc is trying to do a good deed so hard to complain too much.

I know I sure do, especially right now. Especially working nights, noon is the dead middle of when I get to finally sleep!

I work in healthcare (not administration) and I haven’t seen a pair of Crocs that I would wear.

It’s not really about fashion, it’s about being able to bleach/disinfect the entire shoe working with Covid patients…

My roommate is a nurse, will wait online for her tomorrow and see what happens.

They should just do a giveaway. Have people submit and draw winners every day. Indeed asking healthcare workers to try and clamber for a free pair of shoes every day does seem like they’re trying to drive up sales from a core group of customers during a time when they really just need support and appreciation. It’s skeezy door buster marketing disguised as philanthropy.

Seriously? 10,000 pairs of shoes everyday. 10,000!! Give the company a little credit.

Sure, I’ll give them a half hearted clap making these critically important paid professionals line up like its Black Friday. Someone in their sales/marketing department twisted an otherwise good philanthropic idea into a promotional event to drive more sales.

Yeah, this is a valid criticism. As both DoC and the above post point out, the way they are executing this good idea is more than a little flawed. I don’t doubt the good intentions, but the committee that designed how the giveaway will be handled gets an “F”.
