  • Delta has a ten year thankyou sale with domestic flights in economy costing 10,000 miles round trip. You must book by October 31st, 2018 and travel between November 28, 2018 through March 7, 2019.

AA earns its entire pre-tax profit from its frequent flyer program. That might be why Delta wants people to use its miles again lol

Something crazy happening with Delta with all these mileage offers. Since 2010, I have never flown Delta and always limited my travel with AA or United. Also all my points and miles are to do with Star or One world.
With all these crazy Delta mileage offers, it makes me think whether Delta realized that their program became so rut and unusable by many and banks forcing them to retain some value in their mileage program.
What ever it is, these offers are just coming more frequently these days.

That was exactly my thought! I did not bother chasing delta miles because they were useless. Now I think I may want to apply for an amex delta credit card to get some bonus miles after seeing more delta deals like this popping up more often!

nothing to be excited about dude. these deals are useful when the timing is right. thats it. dont confuse that with the dependability and clarity of a top tier rewards program. this is just a short term Halloween treat used for great positioning flights. DL just wants to fill bullshit seats. thats all. no different than the clearance rack off Kmart. just look at the airport pairs listed.

also, Minimum Stay: Friday Stay Required.

that should pretty much tell u wats up.
