Update: Delta has added an updated and are offering a waive of fees on some tickets purchase before March 1st.
- Affected Customers: All International Tickets (not including travel within the U.S. 50) issued on or before March 1, 2020
- Impacted Travel Date(s): March 1, 2020 – February 25, 2021
- Ticket Must Be Issued On/Before: May 31, 2020
- Rebooked Travel Must Begin No Later Than: May 31, 2020

Delta joins JetBlue, Alaska, and American airlines in announcing the waiver of change fees. Delta is doing it differently in only waiving fees for international bookings. This travel waiver allows customers to make a one-time change to their itinerary without incurring a fee. The waiver applies to all travel outside the U.S. as well as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Delta will waive change fees for all flights booked between March 1 and 31 to any international destination.
- You’ll be able to rebook travel through February 2021.
