Our Verdict
Usually shipping and handling isn’t cheap with Shutterfly, but you might be able to find something that works for you. I find that this sort of thing usually makes for a good cheap gift for family members (e.g getting a photo made up).
Wonder if the Discover deal and this deal can be stacked. i.e., order $50 worth of stuff, apply both codes, pay shipping and tax.
Seems like the $25 code might work well for a holiday photo calendar gift. I think I’ve ordered these from them in the past, when I’ve had a “free calendar” promo code from the supermarket catalina machine. I remember paying several dollars for shipping, but still a good deal. Does anyone done the pricing on this? I’m guessing you need to get to $25, and not go much over it, to get “a deal.”
if i have 2 discovert cards, i can use this promo once on each card, right? i guess i have to determine if the code is the same or different…
ok, so i tried it. You get separate promo codes for each discover card, but it wouldn’t let me use the second one on the single shutterfly account i have.
i’m too lazy to set up a dummy account to do my second order on.
Have both on all accounts. Trick I noticed when ordering prints was to get 99 instead of 100, as shipping is much less (they often offer 100 free prints, although I’m not hugely impressed with the quality versus my local camera shop). Shipping on the photo books is $8, I think, which is not a bad final price for what you get. Calendar can make a nice Christmas present, as well.

how do people get these offers? snail mail, email, logging into their web site, text, ? I don’t seem to get any offers, but maybe I’m not looking in the right place
Log into your account, go to “Discover Deals” and search for Shutterfly. I have the $25off$25 and the free 8×8. I never would have noticed this deal as I never check DD for real deals. Maybe I should.
