[Expired] Ebags: Stack Portal, Amex Offer, and Coupon Code for 60%+ Discount

Deal has expired, view more Ebags deals by clicking here.

There are a few Ebags deals ongoing now:

  • Topcashback is currently showing an increased portal rate of 20% sitewide on Ebags.com. That’s just about as good as it gets for Ebags.
  • There’s also an Amex Offer available to get $20 back on $100 purchase or 2,000 Membership Rewards with $100 purchase. If you see both of those, you can save them both since it’s considered two separate offers.
  • Ebags is also running a promo code: FLASH for 40% off many items. Ends tonight, 12/10. (Portals usually stack with promo codes, but it’s not always a guarantee.)

Pretty sure Ebags prices aren’t the best to begin with, but with all the stacks possible it should be possible to get some good bargains, and probably some nice gifts too.

Note, Ebags only allows using one gift card per purchase. If you have two Amex Offers, you can buy $100 Ebags gift card with one of them, then at checkout, apply that $100 gift card, and put the balance charge on your second Amex card, thus locking in the 20% discount on a $200 item. (If you are purchasing smaller items, you can – of course – just split up each item in a separate purchase.)

If you never used Topcashback or Ebags before, check out this post for our referral links to these and other shopping portals as well. Thanks.

Wish this would have been available four days ago because I just purchased some luggage. I did get the AMEX $20 back and BeFrugal 10% back offer.

Samsung Pay is also 15% off, last day today. I had a free $10 I was going to use, but 10UR is arguably better! Good thing I procrastinated!

Here is a good deal that I found but not sure if will stack with cashback sites since uses different code NOT on site. It’s even a better deal, if it works.

High Sierra Loop Backpack (50% off) for $18.99 using code IMRLOOP
Original price $37.99 less 19.00 = $18.99
Less $10.00 email received with gift promo from ebags
my net cost is $8.99 plus tax.

Promo code ‘FLASH’ is not posted on Topcashback.

What could stop me from getting cash back?
Using a promotional/coupon code not posted and approved by TopCashback.

Wasn’t aware we can buy $100 gift cards and trigger AMEX offer. Can anyone confirm they’ve successfully done this? Also, any chance a Topcashback sign up promo is coming back soon  William Charles ?

AFAIR I did it 3 years ago and it worked. I bought a bunch of gift cards and got the amex offer, then with the gift cards and promo code bought a tumi carry on and also got the 14x AA miles.

Also, 40% off is from MSRP, not from already discounted prices. E.g. a bag I was looking at went from $190 to $140, a 26% discount from advertised price.

Beware topcashback. So I am awaiting payment on an item from August (whose estimated time of payment keeps increasing every other week) and they told me their merchant missed their payment so check back in another 4-6 weeks. You would think a company would either just pay out the customer and get the money later from the merchant or remove the merchant from their list until they receive a payment. Nope… neither. They make swagbucks look reputable and trustworthy.

Second the warning on topcashback. YMMV
I too am waiting for an item that is listed as payable from August & still not paid. Customer service communications are poor. I need to contact them for every transaction for the last 3 months that has not posted. (good thing there were for small purchases & I have switched to other sites).

I’ve used them for probably 8+ vendors over the course of 2 years and they’ve all paid out. Lowe’s, BBB, Best Buy, Ebay, Clinique, Alamo, Walmart, Buydig, Allen Edmonds, etc have all panned out. Which vendor are you having trouble with and did you read the terms?

In this case hulu. And I wasnt even doing anything shady like some do with the free trial. I actually have a regular account with hulu and was just told it’s not topcashbacks problem its hulus. Why continue to advertise them then?

I have never had a problem with TopCashback, but Ebates has done that to me. They had a double cashback deal on TMobile, but said they were not paid by TMobile. They gave me a one-time exception, but it took some haggling.

Top cashback still hasn’t paid me for the blue apron back in August! And Ebates is shut me down for buying a few gift cards

TCB left me hanging for 10 months on a $650 bestbuy purchase. Made three Amazon (devices) purchases over thxgiving and none tracked. They responded that you can’t even file a claim on missing Amazon cash back. Also have a missing cashback claim for eBags with them I’m sure will take forever (if ever) to get resolved. Have never had a single issue with eBates.

Watch out when using gift cards, as cashback portals will probably not pay out (it’s in their T&C for ebags cashback).

Not true. E.g befrugal has this in their T&C for ebags:

“No cash back on the purchase or redemption of gift card value.”

I read this that there will be no cashback paid for the portion of a purchase paid using a gift card. Hopefully that’s the case, compared to no cashback at all.
