[Expired] eBay: 8% eBay Bucks for Buying and Selling [Targeted]

This promotion has expired, click here for more eBay deals.

The Offer

Check if you were targeted (affiliate link here and below)

Some people are targeted for an eBay Bucks deal, today. For some it’s only on buying, with others getting for selling too.  Offer is valid until 11:59PM PT on September 13th

  • Get 8% back in eBay Bucks with no minimum on eBay purchases.
  • Get 8% back in eBay Bucks on purchases or sales. Not sure if the link above will work if you were targeted for this offer, but you should see it on your home page or in messages.

The Fine Print

  • Only invited, registered eBay Bucks participants who receive the promotional offer from eBay in My Messages are eligible.
  • You must activate the offer to qualify.
  • Qualifying items exclude all items in the following categories: Classifieds; Business & Industrial, but only for Heavy Equipment within that category; Real Estate; Gift Cards & Coupons, including eBay Gift Cards, Gift Cards, and Digital Gifts within that category; Bullion within the Coins & Paper category; and all categories in Motors, except Parts & Accessories.
  • Rewards are capped at $100 per transaction and $500 per Earn Period.

Our Verdict

Remember to use a shopping portal for eBay purchases. If purchasing I’d personally just wait for a 15-20% off coupon to come along as they are coming around frequently these days.

Am I the only one who refuses to check targeted eBay offers after making a purchase in the last 24hrs to avoid feeling like I screwed up somehow?

I get the feeling, but I ignore it in the interest of training myself to CHECK before I make purchases just incase I miss out on the moment I click “Confirm & Pay”. Can’t always delay purchases to wait for promo’s sometimes a price is just too good to try to maximize the savings you imagine could be stacked on the one purchase.

This is part of the reason I love DoC so much, constantly coming here to see whats up.

Dang Bullion is excluded I coulda got a nice $100 from the mint coin I bought and am now selling.

How much should the $1387.5 coin sell for on ebay? Anything to be careful about selling first time? Thanks

There’s other categories within the Coins & Paper category you know, you probably don’t NEED to list something within the all encompassing “Bullion” if you can consider it something else as well.

I wait for one of these promos to get 90% silver. “Gold coins” usually also qualify.

I keep getting these offers despite not being able to sell since Paypal shutdown (MADE NO SENSE)
