Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) has sent out an e-mail to existing Flagship Rewards cardholders informing them that as of 11/2/26 a $95 annual fee will be added. Full e-mail as follows:
The following is a summary of changes we’re making to your account terms. For more detailed information, please refer to the Additional Information section of this notice.
You have the right to reject this change to your annual fee. However, if you reject this change, your account will be closed, and you won’t be able to use your account for new transactions. You can reject this change by calling us at 1-888-842-6328 before 11:59 pm, Eastern Time on November 1, 2026. You’ll still be responsible for making monthly payments until your balance is paid in full.

Annual Fee $95
Earlier this month we posted a rumor that this card would be refreshed. One of the rumors was the addition of a $95 annual fee. It’s unclear if other benefits will remain the same for existing cardholders or if the other rumored changes will come in as well.
