eBay released a slew of new gift card deals today. Top picks include Airbnb, Southwest, Overstock, and Gamestop.
Most of them are e-gift cards from PPDG which is good since they’ll earn 5x with INK, but not good since they’ll be hard for some of us to actually purchase.

- $100 Southwest e-gift for $88
- $100 bedandbreakfast.com e-gift for $75
- $50 Hotels.com physical gift for $40 (I wouldn’t buy this seller – nationalgiftcard – for the time being due to cash advance concerns)
- $100 Celebrity Cruises physical gift for $88 (I wouldn’t buy this seller – nationalgiftcard – for the time being due to cash advance concerns)

I bought the hotels.com card a few months ago on my Citi ATT card and it triggered cash advanced.
I want be buying from PPDG again unless they allow eBay gcs or eBay Bucks can be earned again. I don’t trust them and the discount alone isn’t worth the risk.
Dang… verification loop again
Any way I can use a credit card to buy gift cards on Paypal Digital Gifts (though Paypal processing fees for funding the payment with a credit card)?
What if I use a Credit Card to buy an eBay Gift card, and then use that to buy the Paypal Digital Gift?
You can use any credit card what you want when paying on PPDG. Login into your paypal account and choose the card you want to use.
You can’t use Ebay Gift cards “anymore” to buy any Gift cards.
With regards to nationalgiftcard cash advance charges, I was one of the lucky few who dealt with this a few weeks back. However, they were very quick to sort it out when I contacted them, apologized repeatedly, refunded whatever amount I said I was charged in fees, and checked up on me to ensure I got the refund. They have assured me that their issue with Paypal coding charges as cash advances has been resolved. Top notch customer service (other than the issue in the first place – which they claim Paypal is at fault).
Can anyone here verify no CA issues with purchases since then?

Woah- thanks for highlighting the ones that trigger cash advance charges!
If you have a dp and proof that these purchases trigger CA’s, please share it and for what card you used.
