Aeroplan has announced that as of May 1st Etihad Airways will become partners with Air Canada. The link to the earning structure isn’t currently working, so we don’t know the full specifics as of yet. As part of this partnership it’s important to remember that:
- Points earned on Etihad flights won’t count towards Air Canada Altitude Status
- Star Alliance Gold/Silver benefits are not extended by Etihad Airways
