The Fidelity 2% Visa card from Elan is sending out a targeted ongoing spend offer. Offers are
- Spend $xx amount [insert amount like $350, $2,900, $4,400, $6,200, whatever] and all spend beyond that will get an 20% bonus points per dollar spent. This should make it a 2.4% earning card after meeting the spend requirement.
The Fine Print
- Promotion period is from March 1st through April 30th, 2019
- Must enroll in this promotion by March 31st, 2019
Our Verdict
Deal is worse than normal, normally you earn an extra point per $1 spent after meeting the spend requirement. Whereas this time you earn an extra 20% bonus (or 0.4 points). Readers usually report getting the actual bonus is very slow or doesn’t happen at all with manual intervention so need to add that level of hassle to deciding if it’s worth it, personally I just pass on these deals now.
