National Police Federal Credit Union Visa Copper Cash Back Card: 3% Cashback On All Purchases

National Police Federal Credit Union has launched a new credit card called ‘Visa Copper Cash Back‘ offering unlimited 3% cash back on all purchases. 

Card Basics

• No annual fee
• 3% unlimited cash back on all purchases
• Advertises higher cash back amounts during promotional campaigns
• Qualifies toward End of Watch Loan Protection (outstanding loan balances paid off in the event of death during work related activities for Law Enforcement Officer, Firefighter, or EMT )

Membership Restriction

Can join this credit union nationwide, but membership is restricted. The following qualifies:

• First Responder; active or retired
• Civilian Employee (Department or Association); active or retired
• Family Member or Member of Household

Our Verdict

No sign up bonus or history of what sort of velocity (or credit limits) they allow makes this a tough sell, could be useful to some but I suspect shut downs would occur for anybody pushing large enough volume.
