Our Verdict

I believe screen fixings usually cost more like $100-$200, so this is a nice deal. Also nice to be able to do it in-store and have it done on the spot. I’m assuming Sprint fix would be considered an authorized fix for purposes of warranties and the like.

I’d highly recommend calling or stopping by to make an appointment at the Sprint store for the fix.

Great deal. Had no issues at the store…They made a test call to make sure the phone worked first and then replaced the screen and battery for $50 just as advertised.

Went in this afternoon after making an appointment. I was 2nd in queue for a repair and they got my cracked screen replaced in just an hour. When the tech gave me my phone, he said he replaced the battery too. Score! About $52 with tax included. Great deal for a clumsy guy.

I got a shiny new screen for my Galaxy S9 for just $52 (with tax). The first Sprint store I went to refused to repair it as she claimed that my charging port has water-mediated corrosion damage (what !!!). I took a chance at a second store and they fixed the phone in an hour without any question asked. Thank you Sprint for this sweet deal and Doctor of Credit for letting me know about the deal.

Just call to make sure they have the replacement screen in stock, and try and make sure you ask for an appointment. My front screen was completely shattered, and they replaced it without even trying to sell me anything. Took about an hour.

looks like they’re using a heating device to separate glass (cheap part) from digitizer (expensive) and glueing new glass to it.

I had some mixed experience with various sprint stores, but will check it out myself this time. Thanks for the info!

I went in to a store to fix my cracked screen, no questions asked and repaired mine for 49. Sprint is not my carrier, I used google fi. They just need to make sure your device still functions properly, ie make/receive calls, camera, swipe here and there, open apps, etc

I went into a store to fix my device. They just tested to make sure my device works properly, ie camera, make/receive call/ open apps. Fixed my s9+ screen for 49+tax!!!

I think it’s a way for them to get you in the store.
Note 8 has a screen digitizer that comes with the glass pre-installed on it. No way can anyone fix the glass by itself.
If this pans out to be true I shall tip em extra 20 for saving me $200.
Again, highly doubtful that it’s TRUE but no harm in checking it out.

Waste of time. Drove to the store to get denied because of small piece of glass missing. Never expect anything good from Sprint.

Thanks for posting this… I’ll call see if it’s standard practice or YMMV as my phone is missing a few pieces but still functions fine. Sounds like they’re really just fixing minimal cracks and not ones like ours where the phone chipped a piece of glass away.

My front screen was shattered, and they replaced it without even trying to sell me on an upgrade.
