- Prime members can get a free $10 credit to spend on Amazon during the day-and-half of Prime Day if you spend $10 at a Whole Foods store during the next week (July 11 – July 17th).
Be sure to scan the Prime code or use their linked mobile number at checkout in Whole Foods to get the credit.
The Fine Print
- Whole Foods purchase must be between 12:00 a.m. PT 7/11/18 and 11:59 p.m. PT 7/17/18.
- Promotional credit will be valid beginning 12:00 a.m. PT 7/16/2018 and expires at 11:59 p.m. PT 7/18/2018.
- You must be a Prime member at the time of purchase at Whole Foods Market to qualify for this promotion.
- You will receive an e-mail from Amazon confirming that the $10 promotional credit has been added to your customer account. The e-mail will also provide instructions on how to redeem the promotional credit.
- Offer not valid for Amazon Gift Cards, Prime Now transactions, subscriptions, tax, and shipping.
- Offer limited to one per customer and account.
Our Verdict
Easy win for Prime members. I assume most Prime members will be making some sort of purchase over Prime Day. Sounds like the $10 credit will be valid on third-party gift cards too, hopefully they’ll have some nice ones over those two eligible days which would make it even easier to use up the credit.
Buying an Amazon gift card at Whole Foods works to trigger the deal, apparently; buying a Whole Foods gift card at Whole Foods should work as well.
Remember that Chase Amazon cardholders who are Prime members get 10% back on Whole Foods purchases from July 14th – 17th instead of the ordinary 5%, up to $400 in purchases.

Same experience.. works on products but not on gift cards (amazon or not)
$10 credit seems to work on a SIM kit sold by a third-party seller.
Anyone know if Teen accounts qualify for this or other similar deals (such as the Amazon Cash or Gift card balance reload bonuses)? Trying to max out all the bonuses with everyone on my account

which whole foods pasta salad did you get? ive been looking for the one with the little pieces of basil and cilantro (?). would you mind specifying the whole foods location and the approximate time and day of the week you acquired such pasta salad. i only go to whole foods on odd days of the week and between the hours of 7 and 9pm. i sure hope my favorite cashier brianna is there to greet me, i love to see her smiling face and her blonde locks flow subtly like the brisk waters of the stream behind my house

Successfully received the $10 Amazon credit from buying just a $15 Uber gift card.

Happen to be travelling for work in a town with a Whole Foods. Downloaded the App, and stacking promos, got 21.6 oz of Honey Nut Cheerios, 2 lbs of fresh organic strawberries, and 2 protein bars for $11 + 10 amazon credit. Thanks DoC!
