The Offer
There are three separate offers here which are completely independent of each other and make up a great deal altogether.
- Sign up for a new Topcashback account using a referral link and both the referrer and new member will receive a $10 bonus (each) after the new member earns $10 in ordinary cashback (Terms). This offer comes and goes; it’s here now.
- New Topcashback members can get $9.90 in cashback after buying a $15 gift card from Gyft. This offer ends midnight tomorrow November 6, 2015.
- Sign up for a new Gyft account and get a $5 code toward your first purchase. If you’ve used Gyft before, you won’t be able to get this additional $5, but if you are new to Gyft they’ll automatically give you a code for $5 off your first purchase.
Thus, if you are new to both Topcashback and Gyft, you can:
- Signup for a Topcashback account using a referral link. (Here is my referral link or get family or friend to refer you.)
- Go through the Topcashback portal and buy a $15 gift card to eBay, Amazon, or anyplace else. Apply the $5 code that Gyft gives first-time users and you’ll pay just $10.
- You’ll then get $9.90 back from Topcashback for the Gyft purchase.
- Make another small purchase going through the Topcashback portal so that you’ll push up your total cashback from $9.90 to $10 (almost any small purchase will net you 10 cents). After the cashback becomes payable, you’ll  get another $10 for signing up to Topcashback and you’ll end up with $20 cash.
The Fine Print
- You can NOT have more than one Topcashback account for yourself, but Topcashback encourages people to refer other members of their household, including a spouse; each unique individual can have one account, even if you live together.
- The $9.90 cashback will become payable within 21 days. The $10 signup bonus will become payable after you reach $10 in payable cashback.
- Gift card from Gyft must be $15 to trigger the $9.90 cashback offer.
- For the $9.90 promo, a ‘new Topcashback member’ is defined as someone who never made a Topcashback transaction before. Even if you already have a Topcashback account, you can take part in the $9.90 promo so long as you never made a Topcashback purchase before.
Our Verdict
Typically, you just get $10 for signing up to Topcashback and this added $9.90 makes this a really good deal. They have offered similar promos in the past, but usually the $10 referral bonus doesn’t coincide with these types of promos; this time you can get them both. The added $5 from Gyft is also a nice little addition, if you are new to Gyft as well.
