Free Four-Month Apple Music Subscription (New Users Only)

The Offer

  • Use Shazam during the Grammy awards and receive a four month free subscription to Apple Music

The Fine Print

  • New users only

Our Verdict

In the past new users hasn’t always meant new users, so if you’ve used Apple Music before you might be able to get another four month trial but that’s YMMV. The standard free trial is 3 months, so this is an extra month. We often see this four month deal.

I tried to do this as I had previously done groupon 4 month trial last year. You shazam during the show and it will figure out you’re watching grammys and there will be an apple music ad at the bottom for you to click. Code worked but only added as a 1 month free trial. I guess they still wanted to give something to those who used app for promotion but because we have already gotten trial they gave us one month trial.

Shows as one month trial at first when redeeming code but updates to four months a couple of minutes later. But I’m truly a first time user so who knows. I was also able to cancel trial so it doesn’t bill in June and am able to use it until then.

Anyone used both Google Music and Apple Music?… Right now I have GPM and, if I put youtube ads aside, I’m under the impression the services mostly mirror each other then, is that correct? Therefore, I see the question in my case being: is it easier to acquire better deals in the long run on iTunes gift cards or Google Play giftcards? I’m leaning towards iTunes based on what I get the gist of posting wise on this site, but thought I’d ask… Thanks! Cheers.
