Get $40 in Free Snacks with Naturebox by Stacking Amex, Swagbucks, and Drop

The Offer

Naturebox is a snack subscription service. There are numerous deals going on which can result in free snacks, mainly if you’ve never used the service before.

  • There’s an Amex Offer deal widely available to get $10 off a $25+ purchase at naturebox.com/amex when you pay with a registered Amex card. There is also a Chase Offer for $15 back when spending $30+.
  • Swagbucks has an offer to get $12.50 back with your order when you start your shopping at Swagbucks [Direct Link] Seems the Swagbucks deal is currently not valid, but readers point out you can get free miles or $5 from a portal instead
  • New customers can get $15 off $20 with promo code: HIP2SAVE
  • Drop has an offer to get $7.50 back on a $20 purchase with a linked card; be sure to have your Amex linked to stack this deal (deal shows as expiring December 30, meaning 12/30/18 apparently)
  • Shipping is free on orders $25+

One deal scenario is to subscribe for $40 worth of Naturebox products, knock $15 off with the promo code, and pay with a registered + linked Amex card. If all goes well you’ll land up with $40 in snacks and a $5 profit after the $10 Amex credit + $12.50 Swagbucks + $7.50 Drop. If you aren’t a new customer then the deal isn’t as good since the HIP2SAVE promo code won’t work and the Swagbucks offer won’t show.

There’s also another offer from Drop to get 10% back on a Naturebox purchase with a linked card (100 points per $10) on orders $50+; this only helps those who want to make a larger order, not someone trying to get their total to $25 for the Amex deal.

Our Verdict

Remember that this is a subscription – the second charge will process automatically unless you cancel beforehand. From memory, there’s no link to cancel in the login, but it can be done via chat.

Technically, you’re supposed to go through naturebox.com/amex for the Amex Offer deal, but it should work regardless. Just bear in mind that the Swagbucks and Drop aren’t both tracking for everyone so it’s worth assuming that it all won’t work out.

If you’re new to Swagbucks then please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.

I’m still trying to get my 7500 points from Drop. They never replied to my app message. I hope I can solve it through email.

I can only send message thru the app, how to send them email? I didn’t see an option there, thank you!

You can send an email through their website earnwithdrop.com. It explains more in the FAQ what to do if you don’t get your points.

I ended up getting my 7500 points after some back and forth through email.

My order was shipped today so I did a live chat to cancel my membership, but they offered to waive the fee for 6 months so I’m going to be keeping this for a while for maybe using the Amex offer on my 2nd card and the $50 Drop offer I have

I just joined drop. Did not have this offer, but it was shown in an email they sent me. Asked CS about it and 5 minutes later it was activated for me. Worth asking if you don’t see it.

They emailed within minutes. I had to wait a bit and kill/restart the app before I saw the offer. It was automatically accepted and never popped up when I launched.

I was under the impression that coupons wouldn’t stack/track with drop? Can anyone confirm?

Drop did NOT stack with my ‘boxed.com’ order w/AMEX offer. The points showed as ‘pending’ on Drop but received an email from them saying ‘Your Points Have Been Rejected’.

Drop offer stacked with my Amex offer (mine was for points and not $, so not sure if that matters).

I don’t have the Drop offer, so my total was ~$10 for $40 worth of stuff. Still good!

Wow, I just got the Drop offer today, 3 days after placing the order… $50 minimum and 100 points per $1 (~10%?)

added seven (3oz) beef/turkey jerky to cart at $5.99 per. came to $41.93, used HIP2SAVE for $15 off and kept the total over $25 for free shipping. Paid with a Drop linked AMEX that had the NatureBox offer. Clicked through the AA portal before paying for 500 miles. received a confirmation that the amex offer cleared directly after payment. $27 – $10 – $7.50 + 500 AA miles. immediately sent NatureBox a message and my membership was cancelled when I woke up today.

I’ll be curious to hear if the Drop stacks with the others.

Drop stacked. My NB order shipped today. Was credited $10 from amex, 7500 drop points, and 500 AA miles, all are currently in my accounts.

This was a big bust for me. No Swagbucks offer, no offer on Drop either (I signed up for both of them expecting to get this offer). I did have the Amex offer, but not worth it.

I’ve been ordering from NatureBox through January taking advantage of the AmEx offer and various offer codes. Five orders in so far. Couple things:

– you don’t have to go through /amex link. Just placing an order with AmEx works

– you don’t have to subscribe – just place the normal order. There is an option for extra (5%?) savings for subscription orders – those you do have to cancel via chat. Seems like you can only have one subscription so you can’t just save 5% on every order and later cancel like amazon

– I have not bothered with Drop or Swagbucks so not sure how reliable those are with NatureBox

– lots of their snacks are on various sales up to 40% off. With those discounts plus $10 off $25 AmEx and various discount codes they seem to have often, you can save quite a lot. I compared many items vs my grocery store and many are good deals. Not all of them taste that great thou so don’t go order a year worth of stuff right away.

– gift cards do trigger AmEx offer – these are like AirBnB or amazon store credit – place the order, add the code from email to your account. Next time it is applied automatically.
