[Dead] Get Free 6 Bottles of Wine from Nakedwines.com with Amex and Topcashback

Update 1/13/2019: Seems like this deal is now dead as Topcashback is offering 20% back instead of $25.

You can get 6 bottles of wine ~free from Nakedwines.com with the $25 off $50 Amex Offer deal, plus $25 back from Topcashback. We wrote about similar stacking opportunities in a previous post to get a terrific discount on 12 bottles – that option is still possible as well.

  • Topcashback offers $25 back at Nakedwines.com for first time customers.
  • Amex has an offer for $25 off $50 which some of us have saved to our card, valid through 1/23/19.
  • Topcashback has a special link to click which gives you a special introductory price with $50 off your first 6 pack.
  • I’m seeing a price of $39.99 for the 6 pack. Others are not seeing that price, YMMV.
  • Depending on taxes in your state, add a wine tote for $6.99, a wine bag for $9.99, or a Nakedwines gift card for $10 to bring yourself to the $50 Amex threshold.
  • Another option some mention is the “Passport to South Africa” for $52.99; you’ll end up with a total cost of $2.99+tax after the TCB+Amex return. Or you can choose any six bottles which cost $16.99 each which will bring you just above the $50 threshold.
  • Get it as close to $50 as possible, and you’ll get $25 back from Topcashback and $25 back from Amex. Bring your total down to $0 or close to it.
  • (If you aren’t interested in becoming an Angel, be sure to decline the optional ‘Angel’ subscription which costs $40.)

If you’re new to Topcashback, consider signing up using my referral link.

How’s the wine?

I wasn’t impressed. I did the $100 voucher thing and we didn’t like a single bottle (of 12).

Crap, unfortunately.

Well that answers that. Life is too short to waste calories on crap wine 😉

I find the site deceptive-y and a bit difficult to manage, maybe just me but I think I’ll pass on this offer, as much as I love wine, and even more so, inexpensive wine.

Topcashback does NOT track their rebates well. I have used them for about a year, they were OK for the first 6 months, but the last 6 months, every purchase has not tracked automatically and I had to file missing cashback reports. In addition, when they state a time frame for available cashback it is usually twice the time stated. I do not have these issues using other portals and have stopped using them. YMMV.

Do you use any sort of adblocker?

I have had outstanding experience with Topcashback for several years. I’ve only had to contact customer service twice, and got credited quickly both times. I’ve found their timelines to be as stated (for this store, it’s 14 weeks).

I’ve had the same terrible experiences with TCB as WhatABargain. Stay away from them.

Whereas eBates will make right when there’s an issue, TCB will just blame you and wash their hands of it all. I’m 1/8 on resolving issues with them. The one issue they resolved (a Best Buy purchase) took TEN MONTHS to resolve. With eBags they blamed me for using a coupon code posted on TCB (yes, they actually said coupon codes they post will invalidate cashback. I have the log of the conversation). With Amazon they won’t do anything and blame Amazon.

For the record, I always start incognito (no ad blocker) when making purchases to try and prevent cookie contamination.

I have the same issue. I have a screenshot from Booking.com that shows an $11 rebate, but Topcashback’s site says $9.40. Multiple times, my Topcashback didn’t track purchases, and I too haven’t had the issue on other sites.

Link to the $39.99 6 pack? Trying to navigate their site for a few minutes and find it, too hard.

Wow, their site is terrible. I tried adding a bottle separately along with the six pack and the cart raised the price of the six pack to the full price. You’ve got to do the steps exactly as outlined in the post for it to work. Also, their “mixed” discovery pack is out of stock, you need to pick their white or red pack to get anything.

It looks like the almost-free 6 bottles deal doesn’t work everywhere. I clicked through from topcashback to naked wines using the “$50 off a 6 pack” link. When I entered my state (Texas) and confirmed I’m over 21, I got this:

“Hi, Lone Star State. We’ve got a special case offer for you!*

Hold onto your longhorns – because there’s an exclusive offer for customers in Texas. It’s a case of our most popular wines at a stellar price. Don’t tell anyone — but it’s because we love Texas best.

You cannot use your voucher in Texas, but you don’t need to with a deal like this!

Enjoy 12 exclusive wines for just $89.99
Special offer in limited supply — only available in your state!

Join 6,000 of your fellow Texans!
Get your special welcome offer”

The “Passport to South Africa” for $52.99 + tax after coupon could be an alternative choice. You end up paying $2.99.

Did you get the topcashback? I was also wondering if using the $100 voucher that naked wines offers and then combining that with Amex + topcashback would let you spend essentially $150 for free

Could only order the white 6 pack from California, others out of stock. Comes to $4.84 because of the tax.

Ok, so my wife asked this question, I went to TopCashback under the terms, the new customer is new to Naked wines, not TopCashback, correct?

William Charles

Correct
