[Dead] Get an Echo Dot (3rd gen) for just $1.99 with Amazon Music Trial

• Amazon Music Unlimited has a promotion offer going for the past few days to get a 3 month trial subscription for just $.99.
• There’s a promotion running now which gives you an Echo Dot 3rd gen for just $1 when you apply promo code DOT1 during your signup for the Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.

The Echo Dot 3rd gen devices costs $49.99. When you apply the promo code with your Music Unlimited subscription, you’ll get a $48.99 discount applied to your Amazon account toward the Echo Dot 3rd gen device. All in, you’ll pay $.99 for the Music trial and $1 for the Echo Dot 3rd gen.

2. Enter payment information and address if requested.
3. Under the Join Now button you’ll see in small ‘input promo code’. Put promo code DOT1 and you’ll see a confirmation that the promotion is applied (though it won’t say the details of the promotion). This must be done before clicking ‘join now’. 
4. Join Now to signup
5. Now, add an Echo Dot 3rd gen to your cart using the same Amazon account
6. Note: Mark the Echo Dot as a gift if you don’t want the Dot is linked to your account, e.g. if you plan to gift it. (You can always delink it later.)
7. Ensure the $48.99 discount is applied and checkout
8. Cancel your membership here before the 3 months is up if you don’t want it to continue

Our Verdict

Hard to beat $.99 for the 3rd gen Echo Dot device which usually costs $49.99. I just ordered my Google Home mini for $.99, now I can get the newest Echo Dot for $.99. Score! Not sure what to do with all of these devices, ha.

We just posted a similar deal to get a month of Audible + Echo Dot 2nd gen for $6.95. This Music + Dot deal is obviously better for someone just doing it for the Dot device since it’s just $.99 for the 3rd gen device instead of $6.95 for the 2nd gen device.

I’m guessing this Music + Dot deal is today only, similar to the Audible + Dot deal, but not really sure.
