Our Verdict

You should be able to use Groupon Bucks for this deal (e.g redeem these $100 discounted Groupon gift cards for bucks and then use those to purchase). Discover is also offering 5% cash back. I’m not sure any portals will work, my understanding is that they don’t but I’d love to be proven wrong. Any other ways to stack this?

Make sure to stack w/ Ebates.

Assuming you get 2 of the $200 cards, thats 6% at Groupon ($24 on $400) and 3% at Newegg ($13.20 on $440) for an extra $37 back

Got email confirmation but I do not see the voucher under “My Groupons”. Something is shady.

  3. Gerald says:

I’m assuming Newegg gift cards can’t be used to buy VGCs (at Newegg’s inflated prices). Can anyone confirm?

  4. Ryan says:

Is the promotional gift card a Newegg giftcard?

  5. qmc says:

March 2017 similar offer DP: Chase UR gave me points for both the groupon and the newegg purchase.

  6. Ian says:

I’m hesitant to buy electronics from NewEgg with gift cards, these are the types of things that credit card purchase protection benefits like Price Protection and Extended Warranty are great for.
