Doesn’t work anymore
looks like the $10 monthly credit only comes with a paid grubhub membership. So, I wonder if you’re better off using amex gold credit for it instead of signing up through this.
$10 Gold credit works on both delivery and pickup while $10 GH+ monthly credit for paid memberships works on pickup only, so it’s better to get a free membership and have the Gold credit for either delivery or pickup than to waste the Gold credit on a paid membership and be stuck with the pickup only credit.
While my free LyftPink Chase perk expired forever ago, my free GrubHub with LyftPink has never gone away, and I don’t see any way to cancel this “Free with LyftPink GH+ membership” to get this (more guaranteed) 12 months free. Here’s hoping the free membership bug continues for me I guess.
You could always create a backup account with this promo.
Someone mentioned you could click the cancel membership button and Grubhub would offer a $15 credit to stay and it worked for me too.

After enter the cancel screen where two buttons keep or cancel, did you click cancel here and offer shows up then?
It just canceled my sub outright.

I think it said something about the credit showing up on the next billing cycle. Maybe it gets added to your account next month?
Yes, that explains the $15 credit i just saw (and used), I had been canceling some weeks ago and got this retention offer which I had forgotten about. The $15bjust showed after, so there is a delay.

FYI on T&C and my DP for getting GrubHub+ (new account required) despite already having been subscribed:
T&C: “Offer valid for users who do not have a Grubhub+ membership at the time of signup (may not be combined with other Grubhub+ memberships).”
I can confirm this is followed… so not able to sign up with an active membership (or canceled, see below). I have GrubHub+ for utilizing the Amex Gold credit each month, so decided to try activating due to others success below (no instacart membership) and that didn’t work for me presumably since my GrubHub+ membership already exists.
Success:
I decided to cancel (since I already used the free meal pickup this month) and tried to activate again, but it still didn’t work, membership details now show it will be cancelled as of 3/1, so no work around for active accounts at this time… not wanting to chance the offer being pulled early I decided to just sign up for a brand new account & was able to register my Gold Card there and activate the GrubHub+ membership using this link and now shows 2/17/23 expiration!

Use PPK for payment method and then delete PPK before renewal.
