The Offer
- Hilton experiences are selling two lawn seats to various concerts for a total of 10,000 points.
Our Verdict
Navigating the site leaves something to be desired, but this seems like a great use of Hilton points if you can find a concert (or two) that you want to attend.
Hat tip to cuittle
The livenation site is pretty bad, but the deal isn’t the worst. Depending on how you value Hilton points, for $40 or so you get two lawn seats, and you do not have to pay any extra fees on top, which is a solid value. Most of the tickets for concerts in our area start at $30 each and then add fees which can seem ridicuous, so it’s a nice deal.
Of course you have to click through all the upsell items and you have to key in your info even if you have it in your account and you still get three or four popups at the end trying to get you with more stuff, and then you have to trudge through the mobile app if you want to get it without any cost – it’s not hard, but it’s a bit of work. Still, it’s a reasonable use of Hilton points. 😉
Any idea if someone else can use the tickets if I order them in my name? Can you transfer them, or print them?
“Two Tickets to see Bush on the Lawn” I have a few of those in my backyard, not sure why I need a ticket…
Also, I get an error whenever I try to log in from there. Maybe getting hit with traffic?
These look like concerts that were selling for $20 and $30 on Groupon and Livenation’s summer sale. So not that great a deal unless you find something that wasn’t part of those.
[Edit: I found some that are a bit better deal, like currently selling for $42 on Groupon, so there are probably some worth getting. I wouldn’t expect any crazy deals though.]
