Hilton Extends Free Night Certificates Again

Hilton has announced the extension of free night certificates. The extension is as follows:

  • Free Weekend Night Rewards issued through June 30, 2020 have been extended and will now expire July 1, 2022.
  • Free Weekend Night Rewards issued between July 1 – December 31, 2020 expire 24 months from date of issuance.
  • Free Weekend Night Rewards issued between January 1 – December 31, 2021 will expire December 31, 2022.
  • Free Weekend Night Rewards issued between January 1 – December 31, 2022 will expire 12 months from the date of issuance.

Hilton had previously extended free night certificates. Always good to see hotel chains giving consumers more flexibility to use up their certificates.

Hyatt needs to step their game up… I called last week to see if they will extend my free night certificates and they said no.

Ugh. Happy they aren’t toast Jan 1st, but our travel is always July, so it’s still going to be rough to use… wish they would extended at least through the summer travel season.
