Hilton Partners With Amazon Explore For ‘Experiences’ (0.2¢ Per Point)- 40% Bonus

Hilton has announced a partnership with with ‘Amazon Explore‘ (our affiliate link), Amazon’s new experience booking platform. Hilton members will be able use Hilton points, unfortunately points are only worth 0.2¢ per point. That unfortunately makes this new partnership dead on arrival, even with the 40% bonus.

“Wheres the link to do that” Google? Each state has their own rules so you’ll need to look up your own states information.

That’s actually good given that the retards will use the points and in turn will increase the valuation in the future.

Maybe, but devaluations and revaluations happen for other reasons too.

You should go back to three-word sentences, otherwise people will mistake you for someone else.

Virtual experiences? Really? Like the world isn’t depressing enough as it is… no thanks, if I was even interested in that I’d rather watch a free youtube video.

Hilton seriously needs to figure out how to improve their points redemption value for the consumer. For starters, they can take a page out of the Marriott (basically the old SPG) book and provide some travel packages (hotel + miles) where the miles part would come out over 0.5 for the consumer (i’m sure its going to cost them way below 0.5 to acquire the miles in bulk.
This is one reason why I am still vested in the Bonvoy(ed) ecosystem.

Redeem your points on what makes you happy.

Read it as “2 cpp” at first glance and thought “whatever we’re redeeming for must be way overpriced”

This is just another typical attempt by travel rewards programs to lower their liability reserves for future point redemptions, which comes as no surprise as people have been hoarding their Hilton points from the recently increased SUBs.

Thanks for the heads-up. I’m sure there will be some changes in the future to make this worthwhile.

Would prefer a Hilton points shopping portal for Amazon if anything.
