Huntington Bank has launched a business Voice credit card. It’s quite similar to their personal Voice card, but much better in most respects. Let’s take a look at the new card.

Our Verdict
Bit annoying that this card doesn’t have a sign up bonus and you have to apply in branch. That being said the flexibility of the 4% categories is great and the categories themselves are actually useful. I can see a lot of people being happy with an extra $28,000 in grocery store spend annually at a high 4% rate. If you can max out that full $28,000 you’re earning an extra $560 compared to a flat 2% card. It’s a shame you can only pick one 4% category. Let me know your thoughts on this new card in the comments below.
Got this mailer today. $700 for 6k spend in 90 days. No AF. 0% for 12 months. Targeted (but no coupon/code). In-branch.

I got an email today with an offer of $400 for $3k spend in 90 days and an extra $300 with $15k spend in 180 days. Also with a 12 month 0% apr on purchases.
Not a great offer, but for me it is actually good for the 4% on warehouse stores (Costco gold)

My email offer is for $500 after $4k spend in 90 days. Almost think your offer is better as I’d probably get to the 15k spend.

Interesting, I would hit the $15k spend easily too. I wonder if these are both public offers as mine does not have any code in the email. Sucks that that you can only open them in branch though.
I probably will be getting my offer, and I’ll ask if they are both public or if you have to have the email.
William Charles I think it is worth updating the page for this.
So I was driving by a branch today and went in to apply. The business banker said my offer was just for people who got pre-approval emails with it, but she said it was really weird it did not have a promo code. If anyone wanted this offer I would just call and ask to see if you can get it, I think it is public.
I do have a business checking and savings account with them.
I see I’m supposed to get a mailer with what appears to be the same as my email offer. It showed up in informed delivery, but I didn’t get mail that day (so, it’s possible I may need to track it down).
I never got anything in the mail. I did get approved, but only for a $3k limit. No clue why it is so low, Chase is giving me $31k, us bank is $19k and on the low end of others I was getting $10k.
did they pull Transunion for the credit bureau?
Yes Transunion only.
RJ told Me about this card. When looking into it, I found under the “About Us” section under the “What We Do” tab is below: Did Hunting expand into 3 more states? FL, CO, and MN. (Although, FL looks like only 1 branch and 2 ATM’s).
“Huntington is a full-service banking provider primarily operating across an eleven-state banking franchise of Ohio, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Our “Welcome” philosophy centers around deep relationship-building capabilities to best meet each customer’s specific needs. We serve our customers through a banking network of over 1,000 full-service branches, including 11 Private Client Group offices, and over 1,600 ATM locations.”
Huntinton is shorting me on my 4% points in last quarter, and also my 4% points in my April account 🙁 I’ve had this same account for several years with Huntington, and this is the first time they caused me a problem with only accounting for 1% for my bonus points. I called Huntinton 2 months ago, and also called them a couple days ago. Both times they were stating it was their computer problem and they promised to pay me the proper 4%. I’m starting to lose trust with this company.
Approved in branch 4/21. Received a $300 after 3K spend SUB.
SUB is gone. it’s down to 4% on quarterly categories.
Now down to $300
Have an existing biz checking for my legit LLC. Applied in a branch and got a hit to Transunion (TU) immediately. Didn’t get a decision and had to wait. Got a letter a week later in the mail with a denial (age of business, lack of sufficient deposits with Huntington). Tried getting in touch with the banker that helped me to recon, but he’s ghosting me. National hotline simply pointed me back to the local branch for any recon.
I guess they want you to have more money in the account (or have a personal account with them)? Whatevs. The chase ink SUBs are much better right now anyway, so it’s not a bad thing they gave me a pass.
oh, and to add insult to injury, after the denial letter, I got a popup banner notification while logged into my online banking AND a mailer saying that I was pre-approved for the card. lol. pre-approved doesn’t mean shit I guess.
dates got bumped

Data point: Already have business checking. Applied for this card, the system wouldn’t let us so made an appointment to come back later. Was eventually informed this card cannot be opened as a sole prop using SSN as EIN.
I have a business checking with Huntington, I applied for the card in March of this year and was approved for 10k. I am a sole prop and used my SSN for the card.
