Uber One has launched a new tiered loyalty program. There are three tiers and you move between them based on how many rides you take in the previous three months (looks like it resets each quarter?). This is a limited time program that is scheduled to run through January, 2027.
- Uber One Base. Doesn’t require any rides, $5 off an eligible order
- Uber One Platinum. Requires 20 rides. $15 monthly benefit ($5 off an eligible order, 2 per month; $5 off a ride, 1 per month)
- Uber One Diamond. Requires 60 rides. $25 monthly benefit ($5 off an eligible order, 3 per month; $5 off a ride, 2 per month)
A lot of these companies seem to launch a paid program, give out memberships freely and then nerf the programs or introduce more and more rules to make them unusable. Uber nerfed Uber One earlier this year. A lot of readers have Uber One membership by being an American Express Platinum cardholder (or the recent Gold deal).
