iConsumer Removes eBay Limit – Replaces % With 100% Of Fees They Earn

iConsumer typically used to offer the highest rates for eBay purchases, but you were limited to $20 in cash back per month. They have now removed this limit, but you no longer earn a fixed cash back rate. Instead you “earn 100% of the fees earned from eBay by iConsumer, NOT the price of your purchase”. There are some other restrictions/warnings to keep in mind:

  • No Cash Back on purchases from “GiftCardsMall”.
  • Please note restrictions on items for Cash Back at eBay: Cash Back is only paid on legitimate Winning Bid or “Buy It Now” transactions.
  • Cash Back is not available on bids placed with a sniping service/tool.
  • Cash Back is not available in the following categories: eBay Motors (including Vehicles, Motorcycles, Boats, & Powersports; excluding Parts & Accessories), any form of Real Estate, eBay branded Gift Cards, Bullion, & Heavy Equipment within the Business & Industrial category.

Most people aren’t as interested in eBay anymore as you don’t earn eBay bucks on gift card purchases and you can’t use eBay gift cards on those purchases either. Best current rate for eBay in terms of fixed percentage is Swagbucks with 2%, here’s my Swagbucks referral link if you don’t have one already.

I assume you’ll be better off using iConsumer for some purchases and straight fixed cash back for others, but I can’t seem to find the actual rates iConsumer would receive so I don’t really know what categories would/wouldn’t be better.
