The Fine Print
- To receive $150 you must be a new member and open a checking account with a $100 minimum balance and have either Direct Deposit or obtain a loan (Visa, auto, RV, signature, or mortgage loan). All loans OAC.
- $150 to be deposited at time of signing up for Direct Deposit or obtaining loan in conjunction with checking account.
- Account must remain open for a minimum of six months from reward date or $150 will be debited from account at closing.
- Limit one reward per person, per household.
- Membership required, based on eligibility. Offer expires 6/18/16
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
You need to keep the account open for six months otherwise they will claw back the bonus! They also offer a free checking account with no requirements, so keeping the account open shouldn’t be an issue. There is also a $5 one time membership fee.
Our Verdict
