A few readers have sent in e-mails asking when a new IHG accelerate offer will be posted. The current offer runs from May 1st until July 31st, 2018. Separating IHG accelerate offers into quarters actually makes things confusing as the quarter dates are:
- First quarter, Q1: 1 January – 31 March (90 days or 91 days in leap years)
- Second quarter, Q2: 1 April – 30 June (91 days)
- Third quarter, Q3: 1 July – 30 September (92 days)
- Fourth quarter, Q4: 1 October – 31 December (92 days)
IHG accelerate offers seem to run on the following dates:
- First promo:Â January 1st and April 30th, 2018
- Second promo:Â May 1st until July 31st, 2018
- Third promo:Â September 1st and December 31st
Even the above isn’t super accurate, in 2016 the third promo ran from September 6 – December 15th. For whatever reason the month of August doesn’t seem to get any promotion. I suspect the next IHG accelerate offer will come out in the first half of August like it did last year.
