Was easy to get the coupon, but no stores near me seem to stock Kroger brand ice cream in the freebie pint size in any flavor…

Anyone from last year remember if you had to use it the same day or they game you a certain number of days?

I plan to be out of town In that southeastern state that is (until recent years) known for a lack of Kroger stores.

You have to claim it on the day it’s offered, but it’s a digital coupon that gets added to your account that has an expiration date after the date you clipped it. I can’t remember how long we had to use it last year, but I want to say it was at least a couple of weeks

This is now live at the direct link (apparently started around 8 EST). At first it told me all the coupons had been clipped but when I signed in it allowed me to clip the coupon.

$2.29 in Cincinnati. On sale for $1.50. Their Private Selection brand ice cream, whic normally costs $3.79, is hit or miss. I’ve had some that was excellent and a great value when on sale. Other times it’s not great. I’m expecting this stuff to be mediocre at best.

This line is stuffed junk ingredients like HFCS and artificial colors. They have a better type labeled as “Private Selection” but I don’t think it’s included in this promo.

Not entirely true. Kroger is in VA with many Kroger branded stores.

Wrong. VA has Kroger.

It’s because of the state laws governing what can be given or not.
For example, I won 20 pints of Halo Top 2 years ago
https://www.doctorofcredit.com/free-pint-of-halo-top-ice-cream/
They couldn’t give me coupon and had to mail me a prepaid card because of the state law.
that’s why beer rebates are different in some states.

So, the excluded states have some laws that makes it not possible to give free ice-cream(probably dairy related law).

insane prices at Kroger…boycotting them same as Target. Literally my local wholefoods is cheaper…Let’s see who is willing to lower prices first.

It depends on the location. The Kroger in my area is actually cheaper than Walmart now

There are 2 Krogers near me and they have different proces from each other. 1 is in a rougher area with a high theft rate – prices are higher at that store than the one in the better area.

You have to buy stuff on sale, then it’s lots cheaper.
