If it’s one day after the expiration will chase still honor the offer? I had the mailer but didn’t realize today was the last day.

Just an FYI – got a mailer today from Chase for the 300/200 personal offer – updated expiration date is Sept 2, 2016 so they might refresh the online link as well soon.

I got an awesome $500 offer from CitiBank too! All I need to do is deposit $25K to a new or existing Citi Savings account and keep it there for 90 days and I’ll earn “up to $500”. Oh wait, actually I’ll earn TEN TIMES THE NORMAL INTEREST up to $500! Wait, that normal interest for $25K on deposit is .04% per year, which means I’ll actually only earn $25 over those three months. Wait, weren’t we talking $500 a minute ago?

Man, everybody should jump on this Citi Thing. Its like they’re printing money. Well, minting coins anyway.

Here’s a data point — Just wanted to chime in that I went into Chase to get the personal $500 bonus today. I was hoping to open one for my 3 year old son in addition to myself. Unfortunately, they would not do it since apparently fiduciary / custodial accounts do not count with the coupon. Oh well. Will sign up wife tomorrow. Easy no risk $1000.

BUT A BIG PLUS — I had her run any pre-approved offers for Chase CCs, and I was pre-approved for all of them including CSP (when Chase online doesn’t show any). I’m well over 5/24, and I just applied for CSP last month and was denied for too many accounts. I was instantly approved this time for a $35k CL. So for anyone sleeping on the checking account deal, my experience is that it certainly helps back door the 5/24 rule.
