Our Verdict
Seems like only orders on 12/15 and 12/22 will qualify, but then the codes given will be valid for another 7 days after issued. It’s not clear how big your pick up order needs to be to qualify, or if there is any minimum at all. If there isn’t you could purchase a very cheap item to get the credit I guess. Interesting partnership, Uber offers something similar but via third party freebird app.
Include pick up from home to old navy store and then drop off back home? Up to $10 each ride?
Received the code after a $17 purchase. Sweet deal because I needed to be in that area anyway. Received the code immediately by email. The terms state that it is good for picking up an Old Navy order, although I am not sure if they enforce that. Looks like it works for any destination.
There is also a $25 Gap eGift Card for $18.75 offer on Swych.com but it can’t be used for buy online, pick-up in store. Combined with this offer, could be useful for someone who needs to buy more than one item anyway (e.g. purchase one item online to get the lyft codes and the others in store). Credit to slickdeals – not sure if such links are allowed.
Anybody test this yet? I’m eyeing some $3 flip-flops.
My brain is coming up with many ways to exploit this. Return the item after picking up? Or better yet get the Lyft ride to the store and never pick up the item and they will eventually credit back to your card most likely. Will work nicely if you have an Old Navy in your downtown area.
Returning isn’t fair IMO. Basically return fraud
I was only speaking educationally. Letting the item time-out and return to stock is probably more moral, though still something I probably won’t do.
Buy 1 pair of socks every day for commute if you work near an old navy?
